I know this is two years to late but I saw the guy that was thor and he was great, his costume was all real, metal, fur and leather, no fake padded suit, his cloak was arctic fleece not terrycloth as close to a woolen cloak as you can get and I've been to many cons and seen many thors but this guy is the only one I know that carries a real steel hammer that wieghs in at 42 lb. and pulls off the look very well and also speaks in true thor lingo. He made that hammer when he was 18 and it's spot on and he made his whole costume from helmet to footwear, this guy is THOR in my book. I just saw him at the 2011 baltimore con and he had a more Kirby oriented costume and it was great, check him out when you can.

I was the slave Leia, and I'll have you know I was wearing underwear. There was nothing bare-assed about it. (Every convention has a slave leia or 2, come on now)

Thor was definitely the best costume. It was hilarious when he'd hand the Hammer over to someone for a picture and they'd need both bands just to hold it in front of themselves.

We put up a small gallery of some costume pics from the show: http://www.jimmyinthegarden.com/2009/10/cosplay-at-baltimore-comic-con-2009/
